A Family Tradition

In 1995, Master Craftsman James Harrington transformed his lifelong passion for woodworking and love for horses into what would become EquiLux Trailers. Starting in a small barn on his Tennessee farm, James hand-built his first trailer for a neighbor's prized show jumper.

Word of his exceptional craftsmanship spread quickly through the equestrian community. What began as a one-man operation soon became a family affair, with his son Michael joining the workshop in 2002 and granddaughter Sarah bringing modern design sensibilities in 2015.

Today, we remain a family-owned business, now in our third generation. While we've grown, our commitment to handcrafted quality remains unchanged. Each trailer still receives the personal attention that made that first build so special.

Our Craftsmanship

Where tradition meets innovation

Sustainable Materials

We source locally grown hardwoods and use eco-friendly finishes that protect both horses and environment.

Precision Engineering

Every measurement is exact, every joint perfectly fitted. We blend traditional techniques with modern engineering.

Artisanal Finishes

Each trailer receives multiple layers of hand-rubbed finish, creating a depth and warmth that machines cannot replicate.
